Membership options are available by the class or by the month! Whether you want to work out every day or a couple times a month, we have something for you. Monthly members have access to unlimited class offerings. Come try a free class and see if St. Johns Boxing is a good fit for you!
Loaner Gear Available
We have loaner mitts, gloves, and wraps available at the gym. All equipment is sterilized after each use. We also have a limited supply of equipment available for purchase.

OUR PROGRAMS
St Johns Boxing is an inclusive boxing gym offering group classes, 1-on1 training, and private group lessons in Portland, OR. Our vision is to provide quality boxing instruction for people of all fitness and skill levels in a fun and supportive environment. We seek to eliminate barriers for those who might otherwise find boxing too intimidating, competitive, or male-dominated. We invite people of all genders, orientations, shapes, and abilities to come have fun with us and discover how great boxing is for the body, mind, and soul.
GROUP CLASSES
Group classes are available for ages 16+. Social interaction with your teammates helps keep you motivated and feel like you're part of a community. Group classes are a fun and affordable way to workout!
1-ON-1 TRAINING
Private training provides completely customized training to meet your needs. Personal training is perfect for those working with injuries or with specific fitness goals in mind. We also offer private training options for youth under the age of 16.

OUR SCHEDULE
Adult Group classes are open to ages 16+. Anyone under the age of 18 must have signed permission from a parent or legal guardian. We offer youth classes
(ages 12-15) and private training for kids under the age of 16.
Open gym is open to all ages. It is a time to practice your skills outside the context of a class. You are welcome to spar with the supervision of the coach who is staffing. It is also a great time to come and hang out with other boxers and just try some drills.

Start your week off right-arrive anytime between 7-8:30am and work your way through a circuit containing heavy bag, footwork, conditioning and strength.
Recommended workout time: 30-45 minutes.
All experience levels welcome.

This class is all about the foundational knowledge and skills that every boxer needs. From the specific mechanics of how to throw each punch and where to place your feet, to core concepts like rhythm and range. This class is perfect for boxers wanting to get more detail oriented while still burning some calories.

WTF stands for Women, Trans and Femme. This is not to exclude others, just to intentionally invite those who identify as such to join out workouts! This time is yours. We can dance. We can strength train. We can stretch. Whatever people want to do. See you there!

YOUR HOME FOR BOXING IN PORTLAND
We are a small, woman and queer-owned Portland boxing gym located in the St. Johns neighborhood. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and inclusive space for people from all walks of life to learn and practice recreational boxing. We are the only North Portland boxing gym to offer group classes with mitt & glove style training–which is the most fun kind of training!
We offer a variety of membership and class options to help meet your needs, skill level, and availability. This is a judgement-free zone and we will meet you where you’re at. Experience or not, if you share our values of fun, safety, and community, we welcome you.
